Following the unholy incident that disrupted the debate organized for Imo State governorship candidates by the Justice, Development and Peace Commission (JDPC) of the Owerri Archdiocese, with an alleged assault of Reverend Father Gerald Onyekwere, WIDONS and desecration of Church Alter by suspected thugs and aides of Gov Rochas Okorocha, an Anglican Priest, Rev. Josiah Ikpegbu has lashed the governor for having no regard and respect for the sacred house of God by Masterminding the onslaught. He wondered why the governor will be against the same platform that gave him the winning streak in 2011.
\nRev Ikpegbu then intoned that \u201cfor this singular act his tenure has expired\u201d. He also accused Rochas of over estimating himself even above the Church when he said in a certain church that \u201cas a matter of his position as governor every church is under him the Priest revealed.
