Arsenal forward, Alex Iwobi has disclosed he is sheer delighted with the opportunity to wear the green-white-green colour of the Nigerian Super Eagles.<\/p>\n

In an interview with Arsenal website, the Super Eagles player who scored the lone winning goal against Zambia in the 2018 World Cup qualifying game said he “almost cried” after the goal in Uyo.
\nAhead of the dead rubber clash against Algeria on Friday, Iwobi said he was ‘proud’ to have put smiles of joy in the faces of millions of Nigerians as they earn a comfortable place in the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
\n“When I actually scored, the moment was crazy, I remember running off celebrating, he told Arsenal website.
\n“I almost cried, I actually almost cried to see how the fans were reacting, to see my mum and dad in the stands; it was just an amazing feeling.
\n“To go to the World Cup you can see it\u2019s not just the players\u2019 dream, it\u2019s the fans\u2019 dream as well and for me to get the goal for us to go through I\u2019m just proud to do that.
\n“Yeah, it\u2019s basically my family, where they\u2019re from, where I\u2019m from; it\u2019s my homeland, so it\u2019s always an honor to wear the green, white and green.
