The Imo State Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha has revealed plans to move some of the State Ministries to the Local Government Areas for effective and efficient operations.<\/p>\n

Speaking during the swearing-in ceremony of the newly appointed commissioners and 27 TC Chairmen at the Imo International Conference Center IICC, Owerri yesterday he said he has finished with remodeling Owerri the capital city and must shift attention develop the rural areas.<\/p>\n

Okorocha who explained that part of the reasons he has neglected the CGC government was because of the recession adding that now it\u2019s over every CGC should go home with N10,000 and that the rescue mission government has concluded plans to move the Ministry of Agriculture to Ngor Okpala, Ministry of Industry to Oguta lake and Ministry of Niger Delta to Ohaji\/ Egbema LGAs.<\/p>\n

While denying not having any political ambition ahead 2019, Governor Okorocha said he only wants to go home and take care of his children saying that earthly leadership is transient and that no one should hold it rigidly arguing that where as Imolites see tomorrow, he Okorocha sees hundred years to come, \u201cand that\u2019s the difference between me and you people,\u201d Okorocha maintained.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Imo State Governor Owelle Okorocha has declared that the Imo State Local Government Elections may hold in January,2019.<\/p>\n

Making the revelation at the IICC, Owerri yesterday, Okorocha who did not specifically say the exact date however assured that since the court case which according to him has been delaying the election ends by first week of January 2018, the council elections would hold later.<\/p>\n
