Omeudo Support Group ,a \u00a0political support group cut across socio -political divide working for the actualization of Engr. Kingsley Uju \u00a0Federal House of Representative aspiration \u00a0has \u00a0inaugurated its Oguta \u00a0chapters, Ward \u00a0to Local Government Area officials \u00a0in \u00a0Imo \u00a0State.<\/p>\n

The group, which held its inauguration ceremony on Sunday at the country home of Senator Alhaji Umar Maduagwu in Oguta Local Government Area where the group through its state Chairman, Mr. Olisa Maduagwu said, the purpose of the inauguration, was to make the group more grounded and formidable.<\/p>\n

Maduagwu, \u00a0the only surviving son of the 3rd Republic Senator \u00a0expressed optimism that come 2019, God is going to see Engr. Uju \u00a0through to clinch the All Progressive Congress APC ,National Assembly \u00a0 ticket and become the next House of Representative lawmaker to \u00a0represent the Ohaji-Egbema, Oguta, Oru-West Federal Constituency.<\/p>\n

The Chairman described Uju as a man with a testament of quality leadership who has remarkable administrative experience, urging the people of Oguta to support his resolved to positively turn the Oil rich region around.<\/p>\n

He said,”Engr. Kingsley Uju, Deputy Chief of Staff to Imo State Government has the needed experience to address the vast challenges facing the Ohaji-Egbema, \u00a0Oguta, Oru-West Federal Constituency.<\/p>\n

He said the inauguration exercise was performed to propagate and drum support for Engr .Uju’s aspiration so as to take the gospel of his National Assembly aspiration come 2019 to the people at the grassroot, adding that Uju is one politician who does not discriminate.<\/p>\n

His word, “I have seen the crop of politicians vying for this position but Engr.Uju stands out among all .My decision to support him is anchored on the fact that he remains the one who can deliver the needed dividend of democracy to my people.\u201d<\/p>\n

The vibrant Maduagwu maintained that what endeared him to Engr Uju is that the Deputy Chief of Staff had the interest of youths at heart and has the experience and connection to enthrone good and quality representation that will reflect the collective interest of his people.<\/p>\n

He enjoined other gubernatorial aspirants in the ruling All Progressive Party to drop their interest to support Gov. Rocha’s Okorochas choice, Ugwumba Uche \u00a0Nwosu in order to save the party from dipping into crisis and possible collapse.<\/p>\n

Maduagwu appealed to Most of the aspirants who are members of Governor Okorocha\u2019s Rescue Mission Team, who were not allowed to run for the governorship position in 2019 to also work and deliver Okorocha\u2019s choice during the primaries and the general election come 2019.<\/p>\n

My reason for supporting Ugwumba stems from the fact that his emergence has given the youths a chance to take over. We are tired of old recycled politicians, he said.<\/p>\n

Speaking respectively, Oguta youth leader, Mr Uche Uzokwe and Mr. Okwuosha Henry who were full of praises for Engr Uju described the Deputy chief of staff as the man to follow. They lamented the low participation of Oguta youths in the political space as compared to other climes.<\/p>\n

The Youths Advocated for more youths involvement in the scheme of things in Oguta LGA and need to be given a chance to sit at the table.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
