The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Owerri Zone, otherwise known as Imo East Senatorial Zone has kicked-off the 2019 election campaigns with a Road-show, which takes the party across the \u00a0Nine Local Government Areas in zone, with all the candidates of the party from Senatorial, Federal House, and House of Assembly in participation.<\/p>\n

The Road-show which kicked off on Tuesday, December 5, 2019, commenced in grand style starting from the\u00a0 Owerri Federal Constituency and Mbaike Nation, made up of Owerri West, Owerri Municipal, Owerri North LGA, with Mbaitoli and Ikeduru LGA respectively.<\/p>\n

Yesterday being Wednesday, December 5, 2018, the campaign Train rolled into Ngor Okpala, Aboh Mbaise, Ahiazu and Ezinihitte Mbaise LGAs.<\/p>\n

Each of the \u201cRoad-Shows\u201d started from the Owerri PDP Zonal office located at Okigwe Road, where all PDP members across the zone assemble for the take-offs.<\/p>\n

Each day, the convoy of vehicles numbering over one hundred snakes through the major Roads and streets of Owerri, to the remotest villages in Ngor Okpala and Ezinihitte Mbaise LGAs.<\/p>\n

The PDP Train was led by the Senatorial candidate of the party in Owerri zone, Hon Ezenwa Onyewuchi, Federal House candidates for Ngor Okpala\/Aboh Mbaise, Hon Bede Eke; for Owerri Federal Constituency; Hon Ikenna Elezieanya, Mbaitoli\/Ikeduru; Hon Henry Nwawuba and Ahiazu\/Ezinihitte; Hon Emeka Chinedu. Others include, House of Assembly candidates namely; Ambassardor Uche Ogbuagu (Ikeduru) Elder Tochi Okereke (Ngor Okpala) Comrade Philip Ejiogu, (Owerri North) Hon Solomom Anukam (Owerri Municipal) Hon Kanayo Onyemaechi (Owerri West) Hon Samuel Otuibe (Ahiazu Mbaise) and Barrister Tony (Mbaitoli).<\/p>\n

Leading the campaign from the party hierarchy is the Owerri zonal PDP chairman, Chief Bony Unachukwu, Imo PDP Secretary, Nze Ray Emeana, Imo PDP Organisaing Secretary, Nze Law Biaduo, Ow PDP Zonal Secretary, Hon Kizito Onuoha, Ow Zonal Organizing Secretary, Chief Ben Mere, other PDP Chieftains from Owerri zone including Hon Henry Ekpe, Chief Innocent Ekenma, Chief Aham Onyenobi, Hon Calistus Mbaoma, All PDP LGA chairmen from Owerri zone and others.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
