{"id":23734,"date":"2019-03-02T15:32:14","date_gmt":"2019-03-02T15:32:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.imotrumpeta.com\/?p=23734"},"modified":"2019-03-02T15:32:14","modified_gmt":"2019-03-02T15:32:14","slug":"us-based-ngo-ngozi-foundation-promises-to-set-standards-through-education-in-imo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.imotrumpeta.com\/?p=23734","title":{"rendered":"US Based NGO, Ngozi Foundation Promises to Set Standards Through Education In Imo"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.imotrumpeta.com\/?attachment_id=23735\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-23735\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-23735\" src=\"http:\/\/www.imotrumpeta.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/IMG-20190302-WA0002.jpg\" alt=\"IMG-20190302-WA0002\" width=\"1080\" height=\"720\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.imotrumpeta.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/IMG-20190302-WA0002.jpg 1080w, http:\/\/www.imotrumpeta.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/IMG-20190302-WA0002-300x200.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.imotrumpeta.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/IMG-20190302-WA0002-768x512.jpg 768w, http:\/\/www.imotrumpeta.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/IMG-20190302-WA0002-1024x683.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">By Orji Sampson<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">An America-based Non Governmental Oganization, Ngozi Foundation, has said its mission to Nigeria is to set a new standard for education and to ensure that less advantaged children will be able to get free quality education.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The General Coordinator of the NGO, Ms Paula Frost, disclosed this in Atta, Ikeduru LGA of Imo on Thursday during the foundation-laying ceremony of the Ngozi Foundation\u2019s International School, sited in the area by the NGO.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Frost said that the school would be of international standard and be tuition free to all.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">She said that its tuition-free nature would enable children of the down-trodden to be able to access quality education at the school.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Frost said the school is bent in for humanitarian service and is giving back to the society by giving the children the opportunity to acquire education and become responsible citizens, while the NGO will provide free feeding and accommodation for the pupils.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Chinedu Chukwunta, President of the NGO, said education is the key to success and for any country to grow; its educational system must be of standard.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u201cWe want to use the foundation to create an avenue for quality learning and if we are able to catch the younger generation early, it will be better for Nigeria,\u2019\u2019 he said.
