Gregory University Uturu in recognition of service to humanity and other sterling performances honoured Linus Okorie with a Doctorate degree (Honoris Causa) in Public Administration at their Convocation ceremony that took place on Saturday at the university auditorium. He was awarded the prestigious degree along Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, Senate Minority Leader of the Nigerian Senate; Engr. E. C Iwuanyanwu, an elder statesman; Prophet Chukwuemeka Cyril Ohanemere; Alhaji Dr. Adulmunnaf Yunusa Sarina and other notable citizens of the country.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">For the past twenty years, Linus Okorie has been engaged in lots of Humanitarian services mostly in the area of leadership development through his organization, Guardians of the Nations International (GOTNI).\u00a0 He is also the CEO of GOTNI Leadership Centre in Abuja where he continues to offer comprehensive Leadership development consultancy services to individuals and corporate organizations. He has mentored tens of thousands of young people and has reached more than three hundred thousand persons through his radio &amp; TV shows and live events. Every year he gathers a thousand young persons from all over the country at the popular \u201cEmerging Leaders Conference (ELC)\u201d where he assembles the best resource persons from within and outside the country to inspire them.
