{"id":26669,"date":"2019-11-27T19:04:14","date_gmt":"2019-11-27T19:04:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.imotrumpeta.com\/?p=26669"},"modified":"2019-11-27T19:04:14","modified_gmt":"2019-11-27T19:04:14","slug":"kidnappers-of-justice-iheme-nabbed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.imotrumpeta.com\/?p=26669","title":{"rendered":"Kidnappers of Justice Iheme Nabbed"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.imotrumpeta.com\/?attachment_id=26670\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-26670\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-26670\" src=\"http:\/\/www.imotrumpeta.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/police-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"252\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">The Department of State Services (DSS) has arrested Stanley Onoriode Ekemaye, described as a \u201cnotorious kidnap kingpin\u201d who allegedly masterminded the abduction of Chioma Nwosu-Iheme, a judge with the Benin division of the appeal court.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">Nwosu was kidnapped on October 30 after being trailed from Ramat Park end of the Benin-Agbor road before her vehicle was intercepted around Christ Chosen Church of God International. Her police orderly was killed. She eventually regained her freedom after two weeks.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">According to reports, Ekemaye was arrested by the secret police in the early hours of Tuesday at Okwuzi Egbema in Ogba\/Egbema\/Ndoni LGA in Rivers state.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">Ekemaye is believed to have been coordinating robbery and kidnap operations around the Delta, Edo and Rivers axis for years.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">Among his alleged victims are Francisca Okhiria, wife of the managing director of the Nigeria Railway Corporation, who was kidnapped on September 14 and released after three weeks.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">Others are Esther Achimogu and Elias Ovesour who were kidnapped in June, as well as Elizabeth Mekuye, sister-in-law to Ifeanyi Okowa, the governor of Delta state, who was abducted in August and released early September.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">Sylvanus Okogbenin, the chief medical officer of Irrua Specialist Hospital, was kidnapped on August 26 in an operation that led to the death of two police offers.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">The kidnap was also traced to Ekemaye.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Department of State Services (DSS) has arrested Stanley Onoriode Ekemaye, described as a \u201cnotorious<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[27],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-26669","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-news"],"featured_image_urls":{"full":"","thumbnail":"","medium":"","medium_large":"","large":"","1536x1536":"","2048x2048":"","elegant-magazine-featured":"","elegant-magazine-medium":"","elegant-magazine-medium-small":"","elegant-magazine-thumbnail-small":""},"author_info":{"info":["Imo Trumpeta"]},"category_info":"<a href=\"http:\/\/www.imotrumpeta.com\/?cat=27\" rel=\"category\">News<\/a>","tag_info":"News","comment_count":"0","_links":{"self":[{"href":"http:\/\/www.imotrumpeta.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/26669","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"http:\/\/www.imotrumpeta.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"http:\/\/www.imotrumpeta.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/www.imotrumpeta.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/www.imotrumpeta.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcomments&post=26669"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"http:\/\/www.imotrumpeta.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/26669\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":26671,"href":"http:\/\/www.imotrumpeta.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/26669\/revisions\/26671"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"http:\/\/www.imotrumpeta.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=26669"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/www.imotrumpeta.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcategories&post=26669"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/www.imotrumpeta.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Ftags&post=26669"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
