Ikeduru Legislative Council have denied the allegation that they petitioned against the embattled chairman of Ikeduru council of Traditional Rulers Eze Marcel Egemonu.<\/p>\n<p>In a resolution captioned \u201cOur stand\u201d and made available to Imo <em>Trumpeta <\/em>and signed by the leader of the legislative Council, Hon Justice Nzeh, the Councilors maintained that the said petition from them was basically false and spurious.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe purported petition was reported as one of the conditions for his suspension as the chairman, Traditional Council of Ndi Eze Ikeduru by the Executive Chairman of Ikeduru LGA, Hon Chief Sam Aka\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>They finally used the medium to completely distance themselves from the controversy and the wrong impression.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is to bring to the notice of the general public that the councilors of Ikeduru LGA DID NOT write any petition against Eze Marcel Egemonu of Ebikoro Autonomous community in Ikeduru LGA as erroneously reported by <em>Imo Trumpeta<\/em> Newspaper of Friday 19 October, 2012\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe therefore use this medium to completely distance ourselves from this
