{"id":3121,"date":"2012-11-01T16:52:27","date_gmt":"2012-11-01T16:52:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.imotrumpeta.com\/?p=3121"},"modified":"2012-11-01T16:52:27","modified_gmt":"2012-11-01T16:52:27","slug":"imo-finally-set-for-sports-festival-camping","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.imotrumpeta.com\/?p=3121","title":{"rendered":"Imo finally set for Sports festival camping"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"center\"><strong><a class=\"highslide\" onclick=\"return vz.expand(this)\" href=\"http:\/\/www.imotrumpeta.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/handball-team.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3122\" title=\"handball team\" src=\"http:\/\/www.imotrumpeta.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/handball-team.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"599\" height=\"356\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.imotrumpeta.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/handball-team.jpg 599w, http:\/\/www.imotrumpeta.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/handball-team-300x178.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 599px) 100vw, 599px\" \/><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Imo State athletes for the 18<sup>th<\/sup> National Sports festival in Lagos tagged \u201cEko games \u201812\u201d will as from next week begin camping exercise in preprations for the games.<\/p>\n<p>Information reaching <em>\u2018Imo Trumpeta\u2019<\/em> does reveal that the States Commissioner for Sports, Hon Kenneth Emelu who paid and un-scheduled visit to the athletes and coaches who were training at the Dan Anyiam Stadium on Tuesday made this Known, as he informed that his Ministry is making arrangements to get the Athletes into camp possibly by next week.<\/p>\n<p>According to one of the athletes who spoke anonymously, the commissioner also gave directives that all the persons occupying the rooms in the stadium Hostels should vacate them immediately as the athletes will soon be making use of them.<\/p>\n<p>Although the commissioner was not emphatic with the actual day the camping exercise will commence, he however assured that the government is doing everything possible to make them comfortable during the camping exercise.
