Ezeadi, a seasoned politician and political scientist of repute. Ezeadi also embraced Okorocha’s government and is a political appointee. However, the issue is that Ezeadi is still using his warn-out blue-coloured 406. While many political office holders use corolla, kia brand of vehicles and jeeps, Ezeadi still moves around with his old fashioned 406. To worsen the matter, the 406 is not air-conditioned. POPULAR SIDE always observes the political science teacher sweating at the car owner position. POPULAR SIDE overheard tongues wagging that the man has cold hence he avoids AC cars.

Honourables Okemili and Iwunze VIP Status

The law permitting usage of siren and vehicles with revolving lights only allows few privileged persons in the state. But recent developments have abused the law. Tom, Dick and Harry can now move around with siren and revolving lights. Some Honourable members of Imo State House of Assembly have joined this siren and revolving light freak. POPULAR SIDE noticed that the member representing Oru East Bar Greg Okemili and his Isiala Mbano counterpart, Simeon Iwunze have SUV truck-like vehicles fitted with siren and revolving lights. Okemili has a black-coloured pathfinder SUV with a hidden number. POPULAR SIDE will not blame the lawmakers for parading the state with the siren fitted vehicles at least that will scare some of the rampaging kidnappers making Imo unsafe for residents. POPULAR SIDE will only ask the fear-stricken lawmakers to however make a law permitting all Imolites to use siren and fitted revolving lights. Well observers using siren has become a status symbol in our society.

Sokom on the Move

The former Special Adviser to the Former Governor of Imo sate and head of Ohakim’s Political Bureau, Rex Anunobi is an itinerant politician. He is always on the move. After the futile attempts to return Ohakim to power for second tenure failed, Bar Anunobi fondly called “Sokom” by admirers may have changed camp and shifted allegiance to another political idol. From all indications, Sokom seems to be working with the Senator representing Orlu Zone (Imo West) in the National Assembly. Sokom was in Senator Hope Uzodimma entourage when he visited and donated relief items to Ohaji/Egbema and Oguta flood victims recently. But Sokom was conspicuously absent when his former boss paid a similar visit to the affected victims recently.

While Ohakim went with few loyal aides, Uzodimma stormed the affected places with a retinue of seasoned politicians who hang around the Senator for favour.

Where is Chuk Chukmeka?

The where about of one of the brightest brains during the regime of Ikedi Ohakim, Chuk Chukmeka is unknown. The American trained economist held several positions during the era of the immediate past government. He was in charge of areas that dealt with money and finance. But the exit of Ohakim threw him off the balance and he has disappeared from government circle and political scene. Who knows where the guy noted for his Yankee accent has gone to? Unconfirmed reports have it that he has relocates to US where he resided before Ohakim came to power.

Uwajumogu and love for Journalists It is no longer news that
