The Lawmaker representing Oru East State Constituency in Imo State House of Assembly, Hon. Chigozie Nwaneri has expressed satisfaction over the conduct of participants during the Wards and LGA congresses in the LGA.
Recall that the All Progressives Congress, APC nationwide began the party’s congresses, which kicked off with the Wards few weeks ago.
Following the completion of the exercise was that of LGAs which held last Saturday, September 4, 2021.
Down to Imo State, that of Oru East LGA was\u00a0 believed to be top notch, as new party officials at the Local Government level emerged by consensus\/harmonization.
Aside emerging unopposed of the twenty-seven party officials, it was learnt all parties in the LGA were satisfied with the choice of candidates.
In a parley with newsmen shortly after the LGA congress last week Saturday, Hon. Chiagozie described Oru East APC as a one indivisible family.
He averred that among the 27 LGAs of Imo, Oru East made the best outing by conducting a violence free congress, devoid of rancour.
Hon. Nwaneri acknowledged the party stalwarts, and members for ensuring a smooth congress.
He noted that both the Leaders and the members nodded in affirmation of the harmonized list because there was unity, peace and love existing among them.
For the newly elected party officials, they were charged on proactiveness and tact, especially towards the progress of the party.
The soft spoken Lawmaker enjoined them to accommodate more people, rather than scaring them away with actions that may be tantamount to peaceful co-existence.
He further tasked party members to seize the opportunity in winning souls for the Government in power, through their words and actions.
Hon. Chigozie Nwaneri similarly applauded the Leadership tenacity of Governor Uzodinma, through whose sagacity created an enabling environment for the congresses to hold without any witch-hunt.
