The Super Eagles of Nigeria will take on Saudi Arabia in an international friendly in Portimao, Portugal, on Friday, October 13.<\/p>\n
The Estadio Municipal de Portim\u00e3o, in the Algarve, is the home ground of Portimonense S.C. and can seat close to 10,000 spectators.<\/p>\n
It will be the first encounter between Nigeria and South Arabia at the senior level.<\/p>\n
The friendly is meant to prepare the Super Eagles for their 2023 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against the Crocodiles of Lesotho and the Warriors of Zimbabwe.<\/p>\n
The Super Eagles will begin their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying race with a home fixture against Lesotho on November 13 in Uyo.<\/p>\n
Jose Peseiro\u2019s team will travel to Harare four days later for their second game.<\/p>\n
