Lisa Asugha stated that the<br \/>\nvisit was based on the cry made by the Igbo Spare Parts Dealers in<br \/>\nLagos to the liaison office.<\/p>\n<p>The Imo State governor who economically reasoned the financial loss<br \/>\nthat is befalling the traders since the market was shutdown intervened<br \/>\nby pleading to governor Fashola for clemency on their behalf.<\/p>\n<p>Recalling, the market which is located in Mushin Local Government Area<br \/>\nof the State was clampdown on the traders last two weeks Monday when<br \/>\nthey woke up seeing armed security men at control of all access routes<br \/>\ninto the area.<\/p>\n<p>However, to the understanding of governor Okorocha, it was made known<br \/>\nthat the State government had had several meetings with them and<br \/>\nwarned about the deteriorating state of the market and its surrounding<br \/>\narea, even as the traders might not have been taken by surprise after<br \/>\nwhich the government gave them two weeks ultimatum to clean the<br \/>\nmarket.<\/p>\n<p>Having pleaded the Lagos State governor on action reversion, governor<br \/>\nOkorocha gave the leadership of the Ladipo Spare Parts Dealers in<br \/>\nLagos a charge not to refrain from obeying the State government\u2019s<br \/>\nenvironmental policy and law, adding that a cleaner environment even<br \/>\nattracts good customers.<\/p>\n<p>Continuing, the Special Assistant to the governor on Lagos Liaison,<br \/>\nHon Lisa Asugha also urged the traders to agree with the government\u2019s<br \/>\nreasons for the market closure, stressing that it might be evitable to<br \/>\nfuture actions.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the president of Ladipo market and over 2,500 traders where<br \/>\nso grateful and thankful to the Imo state governor, Owelle Rochas<br \/>\nOkorocha for coming to their aid and pleading on their behalf.
