Good people of Imo State,<\/p>\n

We have heard the speeches. We have seen the posters. Every election season, men rise and tell us who they are. Then the rain comes, and we remember who they were not.<\/p>\n

This time, listen to someone who has been building while others were talking.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Chief Charles Orie is not asking you for a chance to start learning Imo\u2019s problems.<\/p>\n
He has been in the rooms where those problems are solved. As an engineer, an entrepreneur, and a son of Imo who refused to build his future only outside its borders, he knows the cost of bad roads in Orlu, the silence of empty factories in Okigwe, and the frustration of young people in Owerri who have degrees but no direction.<\/p>\n

But knowing is not enough. He acted.<\/p>\n

While politics was a career for some, it was a responsibility for him. He built businesses that hired Imo sons and daughters. He invested in communities without waiting for a campaign season. He fixed what was broken even when no camera was there. That is the difference between a politician and a statesman. One works for applause. The other works because the work will not do itself.<\/p>\n

What makes Chief Charles Orie different is not his CV. It is his covenant with Imo.<\/p>\n
