\n<\/span><\/strong>Contractors handling 15KM State – Local Government joint road projects
\nin Ahiazu Mbaise LGA have been charged to redouble efforts and ensure
\ncompletion of the roads before the rainy season set in.
\nThe LGA Director of Administration and General Services (DAGS), Chief
\nInnocent Ekwueme gave the charge in a meeting he held with them at the
\nCouncil Headquarters, Afor Oru.
\nHe decried the slow pace of work on some of the roads and warned that
\ngovernment would not take it kindly with contractors that delay the job
\nor fall short of standard.
\nChief Ekwueme restated the determination of Governor Rochas Okorocha led
\nRescue Mission Government to give Imolites better living standard via
\nmassive infrastructure development and enjoined the contractors to queue
\ninto the positive transformation and not be a clog in the wheel of
\nprogress.
\nSpeaking, the Head of Department Works, Engr. Patrick Kema reiterated
\nthat the LG would not compromise standard and urged them to work
\naccording to specification.
\nHe reminded them that they have been fully mobilized and enjoined them
\nto work hard to meet up the target.
\nResponding on behalf of other contractors, Mr. Blessed Okoro of
\nIntegrated\u00a0 Services assured completion of the road on time in line with
