\nA year after thousands of unemployed graduates of Imo origin, gathered at the Heroes Square, Owerri, to hear governor Rochas Okorocha give promises of how he will employ 15,000 persons in the \u201cImo youths must Work\u201d program, the state government has again resurrected the exercise.
\nAddressing a cross section of Imo graduate applicants at the state secretariat complex on Port Harcourt Road, Owerri, on Monday the 10th of March 2014, the Hon Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Kenneth Emelu stated that the present administration has engaged over 15,000 youths under this programme stating that more will be entitled to the job employment.
\nComrade Kenneth Emelu went further to congratulate the applicants who were invited through text messages for being successful and to consider themselves lucky to have been selected.
\n According to the commissioner, the successful applicants have been split into batches. 100 to be posted to each of the 27 LGAs, 4,5000 for primary schools in the state, 2,500 for secondary schools and the rest to the ministries and parastatals.
\nOn screening, documentation and posting, Comrade Emelu asked the youths to get glued to their radio always as the modalities and date will be published through the media. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
