\nThe immediate past Governor of Imo state, Chief Ikedi Ohakim has instructed his legal Team to write a former member of House of Representatives, Hon Uche Onyegocha, to prove his allegation, following a widely publicized comment by Onyeagocha that the former Governor intentional set his house ablaze to curry sympathy from Imo populace.
\nOhakim’s house at Prefab Estate, Aladimma Owerri was consumed by a mysterious fire, said to have been ignited by an explosion.
\nAccording to information available to Trumpeta, the former Governor, has directed his lawyers to sue Onyeagocha for damaging the reputation of the former governor, whom Onyeagocha accused of fondly setting his living apartments on fire.
\nThe Imo state Police Command had invited Onyeagocha over his comment on the burnt house he was quoted in the media of saying that he stands on his earlier allegation against the former Governor
\nMeanwhile, a former Imo state chairman of the defunct All Nigeria Peoples Party, ANPP Dr Vitalis Orikeze Ajumbe has carpeted Onyeagocha for making what he called unguarded statement that does not befit a person like him.
\nAccording to Ajumbe \u201cUche Onyeagocah goofed. Uche is one of my friends I respect but the way he has made himself so cheap of late is worrying me. How could he insinuate that Dr Ikedi Ohakim burnt his house to attract sympathy?
\nAjumbe went on \u201ccan he prove that or apologise to Ohakim and Imo people who he tried to deceive. I was one of the early callers at the scene and stayed there for about three hours\u201d
