Traditional rulers of Ahiazu Mbaise extract over the weekend shunned against unguarded statements against political opponents to earn cheap points as they passed a vote of confidence on the Imo State Government and Chief of Staff, Sir Jude Ejiogu for his excellence in performance and selfless services to the State.
\nOn behalf of the royal fathers, the Owerri Zonal Vice Chairman of the Council of Ndi-Eze and Traditional Ruler of Obohia Autonomous community in Ahiazu Mbaise, HRH Eze Chidume Okoro, disclosed this at his palace during this year\u2019s \u201cEyiri Eyi Obohia\u201d 2014 organized by three autonomous communities that make up Obohia Ancient Kingdom of Ahiazu Mbaise.
\nEze Chidume Okoro, further described Sir Jude Ejiogu as true friend and a loyal leader with exemplary qualities who have supported Governor Rochas Okorcha in his Rescue Mission Administration.
\n He added that \u201cEyiri Eyi Obohia\u201d which is a century long ceremony celebrated annually enhances peace in the community as it cements all grudges, quarrels, or conflicts between neighbors or family members in Obohia community, Eze Chidume Okoro disclosed that this year\u2019s celebration was kick started with a church service.
\nSpeaking, the Chief of Staff to Imo State Government Sir Jude Ejiogu in his speech stated that Imo State Government decided to honour Eze Chidume Okoro at his palace on the occasion of \u201cEyiri Eyi Obohia\u201d 2014, because f his outstanding performance to the State and for ensuring the peaceful co-existence between Ndi-Eze in Owerri zone.
\nSir Jude Ejiogu further revealed that Imo State Government selected Eze Chidume Okoro based on his competence to champion and project the true image of the Rescue Mission Administration through his royal stool and advises traditional rulers in the state
\nTo step up fast in the fight to rescue igbo culture through the establishment of relevant cultural festivals saying that the identity of any tribe is on their custom.
