Critical survey by political analysts placed Nigerian politicians in two major categories which include political actors known to be men and women of notable profession, achievers, integrity and ready to deliver on promises.
\nThe second category according to analysts are those known to be palace rousers who are more interested in gossips, blackmail, sycophancy and adulation particularly when dealing with perceived rivals, and this category they said cannot add value to governance.
\nThere are also verifiable evidence that some politicians have infiltrated the press with lies and ill conceived stories with a view to promote hate, sharp divide, contempt and blackmail against their fellow politicians particularly those in authority.
\nClose contact with the Commissioner for Special duties and Chief of Staff Government House Owerri Sir Jude Chika Ejiogu reveals a competent professional and an organised politician ready to speak his mind.
\nHe was not comfortable at the rate politicians run others down for money and power. He went religion, stating that power comes from God. Trusting in God, he whom He wants to bless he will bless, says Ejiogu.
\nOn the fight of who runs with Governor Rochas Okorocha as deputy in his bid for a second tenure, he disclosed that the purported fight is purely imaginary and not real. \u201cThere is nothing to fight about. Every right thinking person knows that the only person who determines who runs with him is the governor himself and he knows how to go about it. However, I am aware that some politicians are parading ill conceived stories wanting to blackmail and use the press against me. But I am determined to work for Governor Okorocha who appointed me and has placed Imo above other states in Nigeria. \nIn an apparent move by Okorocha to tap from Ejiogu’s wealth of experience as former Deputy General Manager of one of the reputable banks in Nigeria, he has within three years in office appointed Ejiogu in five different critical positions in government. These positions are chairman of Board of internal Revenue, Special Adviser to the governor on Internally Generated Revenue, chairman Local Government Service Commission, Commissioner Special Duties and Chief of Staff Government House Owerri.
