\nSequel to the incessant crisis rocking All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Imo State, the former Minister of Interior, Captain Emmanuel Ihenacho has told Prince Cletus Chukwuemeka Nwaka faction that he remains the party’s authentic gubernatorial candidate for Imo State come 2015.
\nSpeaking after his thanksgiving service held at Lady of Mountain Camel Catholic Church Emekuku on Sunday, Capt. Ihenacho told newsmen that he had earlier met with Prince Nwaka’s son who explained to him that his father is not aware of factionalized war pervading APGA family in the State.
\n\u201cIn political process there is beginning and end. Therefore, people have seen the end, but they refuse to believe. They cannot shortchange me. Prince Nwaka’s name is not registered in INEC. INEC has a lay down process through which it assesses winners of election. INEC registered those who won AGPA primaries under the leadership of Victor Umeh, national Chairman and Barr. Peter Ezeobi, Imo State chairman\u201d. Capt. Ihenacho revealed.
\nThe former Minister advised Imolites to disregard any publication masterminding by group or individual claiming to smear or suspending him Capt. Ihenacho from APGA or indicating that he is not the party’s guber candidate come 2015.
