\nGovernor Okorocha’s son-in-law and Commissioner for Land, Survey and Urban Development, Imo State, Hon Uche Nwosu has debunked the rumour that Imo State Government is planning to reduce the work state force in the state.
\nSpeaking at Imo Government House Owerri on return from USA trip Tuesday, the Commissioner told Journalists that Imo is still very rich despite the Economic meltdown, explaining that workers salaries and allowances will be paid as at when due adding that more good packages will be unfolded for the Civil Servants after the swearing in.
\nThe Governor’s son Inlaw who revealed that lots of changes are going to be made coupled with formation of new cabinet members that will work with Governor Rochas Okorocha after the swearing in ceremony hinted that investors will come in to join in the development of the state.
\nOn the issue of provision of Houses for workers, he disclosed that there is already existing Housing scheme which the government will modify to reduce the sufferings of Imolites.
\nHe gave account of his stewardship as he maintained that he has achieved a lot of significant land mark at the Ministry of Land, Survey and Urban Development.
\n\u201cImo today has been transformed into a modern model state\u201d Uche Nwosu declared.
\nSpeaking further, he urged Imolites to continue to support the Rescue Mission Government and its programs advising them to shun the activities of Detractors who want to paint Imo Government black by all means.
\nChief Nwosu further called on the youths of the state to be of good behavior and avoid anything that will put their lives in jeopardy.
