After repeated time of reporting elapsed, they were asked to go home and return on Thursday due to power blackout.<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, while the Speaker Acho Ihim presided the plenary on the floor of the House, and was reading the committee\u2019s report, power outage struck and the House thrown back into darkness.<\/p>\n<p>The lawmakers quickly rose up from the chamber and adjourned again. <em>Trumpeta<\/em> learnt that the commissioners\u2019 nominees who were yet to be ushered in for screening were however invited into the office of the Speaker for confirmation. In the midst of darkness and scorching heat, the nominees earned clearance.<\/p>\n<p>When contacted for comments, the media aide to the Speaker confirmed the epileptic power supply disturbing the lawmakers stating that it has been a perennial issue Ihim has been tackling.
