The event will hold in Owerri at the Malls Aladinma, Regency\u00a0hall from 12noon. A statement\u00a0 from his campaign\u00a0 organization revealed\u00a0 that party stalwarts,\u00a0 opinion\u00a0 leaders,\u00a0 women,\u00a0 youths and lovers of good governance\u00a0 within and outside the state have confirmed\u00a0 their attendance of the event which has been tagged\u00a0 game changing as it will usher in a new era of politics anchored on contests\u00a0 of ideas.\u00a0 The statement\u00a0added that\u00a0 Opara-ndudu has after wide consultations put together\u00a0 a blueprint\u00a0 \u00a0captioned Imo &#8211; creating pathways\u00a0 to prosperity\u00a0 and growth which\u00a0touched key sectors\u00a0 of the state economy and will guide him to bring the state back to its preeminence if elected governor.<\/p>\n<p>Across the state his entry into the race has received\u00a0 wide acceptance\u00a0 and endorsements from\u00a0 professionals, youth and women organizations and trade unions\u00a0 who earnestly believe\u00a0 that Imo needs a core professional\u00a0 to recover the years the locust has eaten .He paid glowing tribute to\u00a0 the sacrifices\u00a0 made by the late Sam Mbakwe in laying\u00a0 solid foundation for the development\u00a0 of the state,\u00a0 assuring\u00a0 that his government\u00a0 will not depart\u00a0 from building\u00a0 on those achievements as has been the case with previous\u00a0 administrations. Opara-ndudu further\u00a0lauded the late\u00a0great Ikemba\u00a0Chief Odumegwu Ojukwu for his foresight\u00a0and commitment in bringing\u00a0the Party to life,\u00a0stressing that Imo\u00a0State\u00a0remains home to the party.<\/p>\n<p>Opara-ndudu made his marks in the banking industry\u00a0where he, through hard work rose to the peak. He remains a mentor to many top executives\u00a0in the banking industry who worked\u00a0under him.\u00a0 He was part of the pioneer management\u00a0 team that midwified\u00a0 today&#8217;s\u00a0 hugely\u00a0 successful\u00a0 Diamond\u00a0 Bank Plc where he led many innovations and supported many fledgling\u00a0 businesses\u00a0 that have become transnationals especially\u00a0 in the transport\u00a0 sector. Opara- ndudu had a three year stint in the public sector\u00a0during which he served in four capacities\u00a0as commissioner \/ senior\u00a0adviser. It is on record that\u00a0he took Imo internally\u00a0generated revenue\u00a0to the highest\u00a0height\u00a0thus far when that portfolio\u00a0was under his watch. He is not only\u00a0prodigiously gifted intellectually,\u00a0but was very active in sports and students\u00a0unionism as a student.<\/p>\n<p>The statement\u00a0further\u00a0reads- &#8216; Opara-ndudu will bring to bear his experience\u00a0in\u00a0 \u00a0structured\u00a0private\u00a0sector\u00a0 \u00a0environment and his knowledge\u00a0of the working of the public\u00a0sector to make Imo\u00a0rise
