Captain\u00a0 Emmanuel\u00a0 Iheanacho, former Minister of Interior and the All Progressives Grand Alliance ( APGA) flag bearer in the 2015 governorship elections in Imo\u00a0 State,\u00a0 was full of encomiums for Nick Opara-ndudu , describing him\u00a0 as a capable hand who\u00a0 has\u00a0 the capacity to drive the state to\u00a0 the path of glory.<\/p>\n

Captain Iheanacho, presently, member of Board of Trusties (BOT) of\u00a0 the party,\u00a0 \u00a0who spoke at\u00a0 formal declaration by Opara-Ndudu to contest the Imo 2019 governorship\u00a0 election\u00a0 on the platform\u00a0 of the APGA , lauded the aspirant\u00a0 for\u00a0 putting together workable\u00a0 solutions for the development\u00a0 challenges\u00a0 facing the state.<\/p>\n

He said the solutions packaged by Opara-Ndudu are strong enough to address the intractable issues currently\u00a0assailing\u00a0the state.<\/p>\n

In a well attended\u00a0 ceremony in Owerri, on Thursday 26, 2019\u00a0 the Imo state capital,\u00a0 Opara-ndudu unveiled\u00a0 his blueprint, which he said\u00a0 would guide him in his effort\u00a0 to arrest the ruin being witnessed\u00a0 in every sector of the state\u00a0 economy in\u00a0 addition\u00a0 to what has prepared\u00a0 him for the daunting\u00a0 challenges.<\/p>\n

The former bank boss took the cheering and visibly\u00a0 excited\u00a0 audience , made up\u00a0 of party\u00a0 stalwarts and other stakeholders\u00a0 through\u00a0 his professional\u00a0 career in banking where he rose to the very\u00a0 top and his trajectory\u00a0 in the public\u00a0 sector where he also\u00a0 served Imo people\u00a0 in four different\u00a0 capacities,\u00a0 the high point being the attainment\u00a0 of the highest\u00a0 internally\u00a0 generated revenue\u00a0 that the state witnessed\u00a0 while the portfolio\u00a0 was under\u00a0 his watch.<\/p>\n

The blueprint themed: Imo- Creating Pathways to Prosperity and Growth,\u00a0covered\u00a0education,\u00a0agriculture,\u00a0industrialization,\u00a0health,\u00a0landreform,\u00a0tourism, housing among others.<\/p>\n

He assured\u00a0the audience\u00a0that he is poised to heal Imo,\u00a0a task he considers\u00a0challenging\u00a0 \u00a0but doable.<\/p>\n

He also promised\u00a0to build on the legacies\u00a0of Chief Sam Mbakwe, late governor of old Imo\u00a0State, by creating\u00a0massive employment\u00a0through\u00a0the linkage between\u00a0agriculture\u00a0and industry.<\/p>\n

In his goodwill\u00a0 message, an elated Captain\u00a0 Iheanacho commended Opara-Ndudu for the depth of his programmes\u00a0 and presentation ,\u00a0 stressing\u00a0 that\u00a0 Imo needs a governor with a good combination\u00a0 of private and public sector\u00a0 experience\u00a0 to clean up the mess the current\u00a0 administration has created\u00a0 in the state, an attribute\u00a0 which , he said, Opara-Ndudu amply demonstrated in presentation.<\/p>\n

He said he was\u00a0proud of Opara-Ndudu\u00a0and wished him well in his mission to\u00a0secure\u00a0the ticket to fly the party’s\u00a0flag in the 2019 gubernatorial election in the state.<\/p>\n

He advised\u00a0his party\u00a0men and woman\u00a0present\u00a0to share the lessons\u00a0of the presentation\u00a0with others,\u00a0and also endeavor to listen to other aspirants and chose wisely at the party’s primaries.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
