Okorocha security outfits, namely the Imo Civil Guards,\nCommunity Watch and Imo Security Network were terribly humiliated at the\ninauguration of Chief Emeka Ihedioha, Governor of Imo State. The ceremony which\ntook place at Dan Anyiam Stadium Owerri featured all government security\noutfits but Imo Civil Guards, Community Watch and I.S.N were not properly\nallowed to take part in the parade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a clear signal that Okorocha\u2019s security outfits are\nno longer needed in Imo State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trumpeta observed that the state outfit operators had done\nrehearsals the previous days for the inauguration event. At the venue, they\ncame in numbers and well dressed in ceremonial outfits to do the parade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But while other outfits like Army, Police and Civil Defence,\nwent in parade, no one mentioned the Civil Guards, Community Watch and ISN,\nthereby signaling that their continued stay as a recognized outfit of the state\ngovernment may not go beyond May 29th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was also gathered that Imo State Anthem is no longer\nneeded as it was not read alongside that of Nigeria. Our reporter who covered\nthe inauguration ceremony at Dan Anyaim Stadium observed that the PDP led\nadministration has considered it necessary to stop Imo Anthem composed by\nOkorocha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some of the PDP chieftains who spoke to our reporter hinted\nthat the reason for the stoppage of Imo Anthem because of the abuse of rule of\nlaw by the past administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aboh Mbaise Councillors Support Ihedioha<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Councilors from Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area, Imo\nState, led by the leader, Rt Hon Okechukwu Charles have congratulated the\nnew  Imo State governor, Chief Emeka\nIhedioha and his Deputy, Hon Gerald Irona on the occasion of their inauguration\nas the 6th Governor and Deputy Governor of Imo State respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rt Hon Charles Okechukwu while speaking with newsmen on\nWednesday at the swearing-in arena, Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri described Chief\nIhedioha as a man endowed with wisdom. He hinted that Ihedioha will surely\nrebuild Imo. However, he promised that the councilors will give the new\ngovernor absolute loyalty and support to succeed in office.
