{"id":26883,"date":"2019-12-16T19:04:04","date_gmt":"2019-12-16T19:04:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.imotrumpeta.com\/?p=26883"},"modified":"2019-12-16T19:04:04","modified_gmt":"2019-12-16T19:04:04","slug":"fresh-efcc-fear-grips-yahoo-yahoo-boys-over-arrest-in-imo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.imotrumpeta.com\/?p=26883","title":{"rendered":"Fresh EFCC Fear Grips Yahoo-Yahoo Boys Over Arrest In Imo"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.imotrumpeta.com\/?attachment_id=26885\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-26885\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-26885\" src=\"http:\/\/www.imotrumpeta.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/efcc.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"238\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.imotrumpeta.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/efcc.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.imotrumpeta.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/efcc-300x179.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">Another round of fear has taken over the minds of suspected Yahoo Yahoo operators in Imo who have again gone into hibernation for fear of arrest by security agencies.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">The Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC, has commenced fresh arrest of suspected fraudsters known as Yahoo-Yahoo boys.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">It would be recalled that EFCC had few months ago maintained continued raid of the Yahoo-Yahoo boys in Owerri.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">A renewed raid in the capital city, by EFCC operatives last weekend saw about 29 suspected fraudsters, including a 16 year old arrested at different raids.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">The EFCC raid may not be unconnected to the influx of young men with flashy cars trooping into Owerri for the Christmas festive.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">EFCC\u2019s onslaught on the suspected Yahoo-Yahoo boys have sent tensed moments into the minds of the internet fraudsters who are worried over the fresh arrest.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">Trumpeta discovered that after last Friday\u2019s arrest of 29 suspects, weekend grooves in Owerri was at low ebb sending signals that the suspected Yahoo-Yahoo boys may have gone underground to avoid arrest. In the past, it is a common sight to notice young men with dreadlocks and fancy looks litter the streets especially during late hours. The boys who flood hospitality outfits showcase affluence.
