Benjamin Uwajumogu, who died on Wednesday, 18th December 2019.<br>As part of activities preceding his burial, a valedictory service was held in his honour was yesterday at the hallowed chamber in the senate.<br>His distinguished colleagues, paid glowing tributes to him, as the Senate President, Ahmed Lawan declared the session open.<br>Among those who spoke were, the Minority leader, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo- Agege, Senator Ajayi Borofice, Senator Philip Aduda, Senator Rochas Okorocha, former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu all giving good reports about the deceased.<br>Family and relatives of the deceased had earlier filed in, accompanying the corpse side by side as they made entry into the chamber.<br>The senate said the late lawmaker, will be sorely missed for his enormous contributions to the debate and activities of the upper legislative arm.<br>Until his death, he was Chairman Senate Committee on Employment, Labour,
