\n<\/strong>Imo state governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha has reassured the people of
\nMbaitoli local government of adequate security of life and property of
\nthe people of the area.
\nGovernor Okorocha gave this assurance at the grand reception organized
\nby the federation of Orodo Autonomous communities at the area central
\nschool.
\nOkorocha who decried the spate of kidnapping in the area said his
\nadministration would ensure the place becomes uninhabitable for
\nundesirable elements.
\nHe noted Mbaitoli as one of the biggest local governments in the
\nstate, adding that any leader who fails to establish the state
\npresence in the area will not succeed.
\nThe governor urged the people of the area to embrace agricultural
\npolicy of the state administration by planting palm trees in their
\ncommunities, which he asserted would boost the economy of the state.
\nHe said that the state government has paid 30% to contractors handling
\nevery road in the state, called on contractors to go back to their
\nvarious road sites and effect completion, pointing out that rainy
\nseason is over.
\nHe expressed joy over the manner in which the affairs of Ndi Eze is
\nbeing piloted, described Eze Ohiri as a son whose Royal appointment is
\ndivine.
\nEarlier in a keynote address, the president general, Federation of
\nOrodo Autonomous Communities, Barr. Basil Nnaoma Chukwu explained that
\nthe occasion was organized to appreciate the state Governor for
\nfinding their son worthy of being the chairman of Imo Council of
\nTraditional Rulers.
\nBarr. Nnaoma commended the free education programme of state Rescue
\nMission Administration, said it will spark off intellectualism and
\ncreativity amongst Imo youths.<\/p>\n

In his remarks, the chairman of the occasion, Chief Leo Stan Ekeh,
\ncongratulated the people of the state for having the right attitude to
\nmove forward and urged them to pray for their leaders and promised to
\ngive his support to the administration in making Imo better.
\nIn a vote of thanks, the chairman, Imo Council of Traditional Rulers,
\nHis Royal Highness, Eze Samuel Ohiri thanked the government for giving
\nhim the opportunity to serve in the state, promised not to betray the
