Scouts from leading clubs from different parts of the world are reportedly descending to Egypt this weekend for the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.<\/p>\n
The competition will run from February 19 to March 11.<\/p>\n
The Flying Eagles and 11 other countries will lock horns in the biennial competition.<\/p>\n
The 2023 U-20 AFCON will also serve as the qualifiers for the FIFA U-20 World Cup to be staged in Indonesia later in the year.<\/p>\n
According to CAF, they have been inundated by an unprecedented high number of applications from scouts and clubs who are looking for accreditation to the event.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe interest from scouts and international audiences is truly amazing,\u201d CAF General Secretary, Veron Mosengo-Omba said.<\/p>\n
