The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, denied issuing a sit-at-home in Lagos State.<\/p>\n
IPOB\u2019s spokesman, Emma Powerful, described the remark as false and laughable.<\/p>\n
Powerful said the reported order was the handiwork of those trying to blackmail IPOB.<\/p>\n
In a statement, Powerful said: \u201cThe attention of the global movement and family of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) under the command and leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Okwuchukwu KANU has been drawn to the laughable and disgraceful statement making rounds in the zoo that the noble movement of IPOB issued a sit at home order in Lagos State.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe statement is false, laughable, and coming from the quarters of blackmailers to disparaged IPOB and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.<\/p>\n
\u201cIPOB has never issued any sit-at-home order outside Biafra Land. Anyone issuing any sit-at-home orders in Biafra or in Lagos is on his or her own and not doing so on behalf of Mazi Nnamdi KANU or IPOB.<\/p>\n
\u201cTherefore, IPOB publicly disassociates ourselves from any purported sit-at-home call in Lagos or anywhere in Nigeria, including Biafra Land at this time.<\/p>\n
