Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has been nominated for the 2023 The Best FIFA Football award.<\/p>\n
FIFA released the name of the nominees on Thursday.<\/p>\n
Osimhen was recognised for his impressive displays for Napoli during the 2022\/23 season.<\/p>\n
The Nigerian international scored 26 goals in 32 league appearances for the Partenopei.<\/p>\n
The 24-year-old is also in the running for the 2023 Men\u2019s Ballon d\u2019Or.<\/p>\n
Osimhen will battle the likes of Lionel Messi, Erling Haaland, Julio Alvarez and Kevin de Bruyne for the award.<\/p>\n
