Just few days away from the Imo State gubernatorial election slated for November 11 2023, not less than 42 members of the support and Volunteer Group Coordinators of the Peoples Democratic Party, In a meeting held at Parish Royale Hotel Portharcourt road on Tuesday 7th November,2023\u00a0 have abandoned Senator Samuel Anyanwu and\u00a0 unanimously decided to vote APC\u00a0 enmasse.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Haven observed and\u00a0 keenly seen\u00a0 that the candidate of PDP Sen. Samuel Anyanwu\u00a0 \u00a0is not\u00a0 in the race for good but\u00a0 rather, out to distablise the peace of Imo PDP as well as distract Uzodinma from giving his best as the governor\u00a0 of Imo State<\/p>\n
The convener of the meeting Pharm .Nwosu Canice Chukwunonyerem, the former Director General of PDP Support and Volunteer Groups expressed that he summoned them\u00a0 to brainstorm and strategize\u00a0 positively on how best to deliver Uzodinma on Saturday which is his utmost priority.<\/p>\n
Continuing, he mentioned that\u00a0 each day news of different groups endorsing him is being heard which is a pointer that his achievements are top-notch to a point\u00a0 that no other political party in Imo is credible enough to give him a fight.<\/p>\n
” Uzodinma is the best bet for Imo State\u00a0 as it has been proven beyond reasonable doubts through\u00a0 his\u00a0 laudable achievements so far in office which are too numerous to be mentioned.<\/p>\n
His magnanimity, have contributed\u00a0immensely to the mass exodus of\u00a0 PDP notable leaders and faithful\u00a0 to APC thus, leaving PDP in shambles. “<\/p>\n
Nwosu thanked Uzodinma for choosing a quintessential, humane and virtuous Woman of high repute as his running mate saying, is a right step and most desirable at this moment.<\/p>\n
Dr. Abara Benard Chinedu a former PDP chieftain\u00a0speaking at the event mentioned, that the decision is apt\u00a0and that all\u00a0should without further delay join the moving train of shared prosperity.<\/p>\n
He stated categorically that 4+4 is certain\u00a0and for this reason, all should synergies with their\u00a0various wards and LGA leaders and ensure they deliver Uzodinma with wide margin at the poll.<\/p>\n
Different coordinators who spoke at interval\u00a0said Uzodinma\u00a0\u00a0is the best amongst all in the race and so wouldn’t withhold their support for him as they agreed that in the spirit of brotherhood would reach out to as many doubting Thomases with concrete reasons why Uzodinma deserves a second Statutory term in office<\/p>\n
The Sole Administrators of Owerri West\u00a0 Hon.Victor Osigwe\u00a0 who graced the occasion advised them to remain steadfast and focused on their support for Uzodinma as he is a rewarder of good deeds as he emphatically stated, that he is a testimony of his benevolence<\/p>\n
He mentioned, that with immediate effect they should use their Channel of information to reach all their members across the 27 Local Government in Imo State who are already waiting for their directives.<\/p>\n
