To enhance productivity in the Ministry of Justice, the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Imo State, Barr. COC Akaolisa, has given out ten HP Laptop Computers to ten law officers in the Ministry.<\/p>\n
Akaolisa said the items would encourage the law officers in the Ministry of Justice to discharge their assigned duties diligently, creditably and efficiently to achieve more results for the state in terms of litigations.<\/p>\n
Giving out the laptops to the beneficiaries at his office in Owerri on Monday, the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice stated that the Ministry made the gesture to the workers to encourage them to continue to put in more effort in the defence of litigations affecting Imo State across Nigeria Courts, as well as inspire others to improve accordingly.<\/p>\n
Akaolisa who reiterated that the workers need the veritable items to ease their defence of the state on litigations in courts, charged them to work harder to improve performance, hinting that the Ministry of Justice, Imo State, has 140 law officers with ten of them benefiting from the first batch of the gesture, others to receive their own laptops in the next batches.<\/p>\n
“The gesture is a sign that we notice their commitment. We want to start with the ten law officers and subsequently others would get their own laptops because it is our intention to see all law officers in the Ministry of Justice have laptops to continue to give in their best for the state”, Akaolisa maintained.<\/p>\n
He added that the feat was done in line with the 3R Mantra of Rehabilitation, Reconstruction and Recovery championed by Governor Hope Uzodimma who he commended for promoting workers of the Ministry, assuring that the Ministry of Justice would always do its best to support the success and progress of the state.<\/p>\n
Giving Votes of Thanks, the Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Justice, Cletus Akowundu, said the gesture was first of its kind, saying the second batch will fairly benefit other workers, urging the first batch beneficiaries to use the items effectively to improve performance.<\/p>\n
With the Director, Public Prosecutor of the Ministry, Mrs. Amadi Immaculata, affirming that the laptops came as a result of their hardwork, a feat she observed would enhance their work to promote judicial excellence in Imo State.<\/p>\n
