A renowned\u00a0 \u00a0leader\u00a0 in Mpam Autonomous Community in Ahiazu Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State Chief L .C Ogbata has been declared the Eze-Elect of his Community.<\/p>\n
This development was made known following the completion of the Eze selection and screening process by the constitution of Mpam Town Union.<\/p>\n
According to a press statement\u00a0 credited to Chief Ikukundu Iyke Anyanwu on behalf of Chief\u00a0 L.C Ogbata’s\u00a0 Support Group ,\u00a0 made available to newsmen , the selection process took place\u00a0 during the 2024\u00a0 Easter statutory General Assembly\u00a0 of Mpam Autonomous Community, where\u00a0 the Aladimma Chairman of Umuaju, presented the report of the Eze selection and screening committee. This report was subsequently adopted as a working document and was immediately read to the general assembly by the Chief Scribe of Mpam, the Union General Secretary.<\/p>\n
The screening\u00a0 committee\u00a0 was said to have disqualified one of the two aspirants, Nze Nwigwe, due to discrepancies in his submitted credentials. As a result, Chief L.C. Ogbata (Onuguotu II\u00a0 designate)\u00a0 was returned unopposed and declared Eze Elect, aligning with the expectations and strict compliance with the constitution of Mpam Town Union.<\/p>\n
According to\u00a0 the statement the\u00a0 outcome of the selection process\u00a0 was not far-fetched from\u00a0 Chief L.C. Ogbata’s unquestionable leadership qualities and unwavering commitment to the welfare and progress of Mpam Autonomous Community.\u00a0 With the hope that his\u00a0 elevation to the esteemed position of Eze Elect\u00a0 will herald\u00a0 a new era of prosperity, unity, and cultural preservation of Mpam\u00a0 community.<\/p>\n
Chief Ogbata’s support group seized the platform to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all members of Mpam Autonomous Community for their support and participation throughout the selection process.<\/p>\n
