The Governor of Imo State Sen.Hope Uzodinma has been on the news\u00a0 for haven transformed and given the state a facelift in terms of quality road construction and human capital Development.<\/p>\n
Recent events of the last few months in Imo state have shown and\u00a0 reaffirmed that\u00a0 Governor Uzodimma is working tirelessly in\u00a0 creating more resources and opportunities for the state and making same available to all and sundry.<\/p>\n
Dr . Charles Uzopuo the Chief Press Secretary to the Deputy Gov.Lady Chinyere Ekomaru who spoke to Trumpeta in an exclusive interview expressed happiness with\u00a0 Uzodimma stating , that he is working with high spirit without relenting\u00a0 to restore the glory of the state to the real Eastern Heartland\u00a0 as all\u00a0 he thinks is investment which could yield positive results.<\/p>\n
The vibrant CPS\u00a0reiterated , that Governor Uzodimma began this good works\u00a0 by signing into law, the Imo State Electricity bill which empowers the state to generate, transmit and distribute her own power supply which he vehemently hinted,\u00a0 is a bold step , he disclosed that the giant strides of the Governor will also\u00a0 bring rapid development to the urban and rural\u00a0 \u00a0communities in the state and also\u00a0 boost the economic activities and help to reduce the unemployment threshold.<\/p>\n
Trumpeta equally learnt that there was\u00a0 a signed agreement by the Imo state Government led by Gov.\u00a0 Uzodimma with a\u00a0 credible World class Power Company from Egypt , that will generate, transmit and distribute electricity in the state. According to Governor\u00a0 Uzodinma\u00a0 ” ” there will be an improved and uninterrupted power supply within the next eight months”. He expressed.<\/p>\n
Inline with fulfilling his positive agenda for the state Governor\u00a0 \u00a0attracted\u00a0 the African Export and Import bank (AFREXIMbank) to<\/p>\n
Imo\u00a0 and subsequently signing\u00a0 a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the bank , in his bid to ensure more wealth and shared prosperity for Imolites, Gov.\u00a0 Uzodimma attracted and commissioned a Federal Government Critical Infrastructure Project, the ANOH Gas Plant at ASSA, Ohaji\/Egbema Local Government Area of the state of which he is\u00a0 optimistic\u00a0 that the Gas plant will explore the abundant gas deposit in the state to generate wealth,and more employment opportunities.<\/p>\n
The recent activities of the Imo\u00a0 Governor\u00a0 has shown\u00a0 Shared Prosperity in action. It goes to confirm once again that the ascension of Gov.\u00a0 Uzodimma to power as the Governor of Imo state was beyond the outcome of electoral and legal contest but a divine providence as the manifestations of God’s plan for Imo state through him as it is\u00a0 crystal clear by the day through the empirical facts and figures orchestrated by his\u00a0 goals, bold steps and laudable achievements in office.<\/p>\n
Therefore, all Imolites irrespective of political affiliation should continue to rally round Governor Hope Odidika Uzodimma as he gradually stirs the ship and willingly\u00a0 turns Imo state\u00a0 into an economic hub.<\/p>\n
