Imo state Governor, Owelle Rochas Anayo Okorocha, has ordered
\nimmediate investigation to unravel the circumstances behind the
\nmysterious death of a family of nine in Emekuku, Owerri North LGA.
\nGov. Okorocha also visited the compound where Mr. Paschal Nnadi and
\neight other members of his family perished in sleep on Saturday night.
\nHe expressed deep shock and sadness over the ugly incident even as he
\ncommiserated with the entire community and members of Nnadi\u2019s extended
\nfamily.
\nGov. Okorocha added that his visit to the compound is to demonstrate
\nthe concern of government and good people of the state over the
\ntragedy.
\nSimilarly, Gov. Okorocha has commiserated with government and good
\npeople of Plateau state over the renewed attack which claimed many
\nlives including a serving Senator of Federal Republic of Nigeria, Sen.
\nGyau Daylop Dantong and majority Leader of the state House of
\nAssembly, Hon. Gyau Fulani.
\nWhile he described the latest onslaught on the innocent citizens as
\nbarbaric, Gov. Okorocha posited that time is up for federal
\ngovernment, security agencies and other stakeholders to introduce a
\nnew approach on the war against terrorism and other forms of killings
\nin the country.
\nHe prayed God to give the affected families the fortitude to bear the loss.<\/p>\n
