<\/p>\n

<\/strong>Imo State government and Bluefield Associates Incorporated, an
\nAmerican firm have struck a deal to construct a commercial Industrial
\nPark and residential estate in the state under Private-
\nPublic-Partnership [PPP].<\/p>\n

Governor Owelle Okorocha, who stated this when he received a team of
\ninvestors led by former American Ambassador to Nigeria, Ms Robin
\nSanders in Government House, Owerri said the state government is ready
\nto play its part in the deal by providing the necessary economic
\nincentive and land for the project.<\/p>\n

He expressed delight on the proposal stressing that the concept is
\ntotally in line with his industrialization and agricultural policies.<\/p>\n

The governor reiterated that his administration would continue to
\npartner with genuine investors to develop all sectors of the economy
\nfor enhanced revenue generation and overall development of the state.<\/p>\n

He further disclosed that much effort is being made to create enormous
\nwealth in the state through agro-industrial venture which the governor
\nadmitted would add values to agricultural products.<\/p>\n

The leader of the team, Ambassador Robin Sanders said the proposed
\nventure with the state government is borne out of\u00a0Governor Okorocha\u2019s
\ncommitment to develop the critical sectors of the economy of the
\nstate.<\/p>\n

She lauded the transformation initiative of the governor and expressed
\noptimism that the partnership would create job opportunities and
\nassist the state government access fund for further development from
\nthe international agencies.<\/p>\n

Also speaking, the Vice President, Bluefield Associates Incorporated,
\nEngr. K.C. Obioha said his firm would provide the initial equity,
\nmanagement as well as fund the project.<\/p>\n

He explained that the essence of venturing into such partnership with
\nthe state government is to contribute to the rapid industrialization
\nof the state in line with governor Okorocha\u2019s vision.<\/p>\n

Engr. Obioha added that the industrial park would include an
\nintegrated personal care product manufacturing plant and agro-industry
