{"id":838,"date":"2012-07-11T16:09:26","date_gmt":"2012-07-11T16:09:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.imotrumpeta.com\/?p=838"},"modified":"2012-07-11T16:09:26","modified_gmt":"2012-07-11T16:09:26","slug":"imo-government-american-firm-in-partnership-to-build-industrial-park","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.imotrumpeta.com\/?p=838","title":{"rendered":"IMO GOVERNMENT, AMERICAN FIRM IN PARTNERSHIP TO BUILD INDUSTRIAL PARK"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><\/p>\n<p><\/strong>Imo State government and Bluefield Associates Incorporated, an<br \/>\nAmerican firm have struck a deal to construct a commercial Industrial<br \/>\nPark and residential estate in the state under Private-<br \/>\nPublic-Partnership [PPP].<\/p>\n<p>Governor Owelle Okorocha, who stated this when he received a team of<br \/>\ninvestors led by former American Ambassador to Nigeria, Ms Robin<br \/>\nSanders in Government House, Owerri said the state government is ready<br \/>\nto play its part in the deal by providing the necessary economic<br \/>\nincentive and land for the project.<\/p>\n<p>He expressed delight on the proposal stressing that the concept is<br \/>\ntotally in line with his industrialization and agricultural policies.<\/p>\n<p>The governor reiterated that his administration would continue to<br \/>\npartner with genuine investors to develop all sectors of the economy<br \/>\nfor enhanced revenue generation and overall development of the state.<\/p>\n<p>He further disclosed that much effort is being made to create enormous<br \/>\nwealth in the state through agro-industrial venture which the governor<br \/>\nadmitted would add values to agricultural products.<\/p>\n<p>The leader of the team, Ambassador Robin Sanders said the proposed<br \/>\nventure with the state government is borne out of\u00a0Governor Okorocha\u2019s<br \/>\ncommitment to develop the critical sectors of the economy of the<br \/>\nstate.<\/p>\n<p>She lauded the transformation initiative of the governor and expressed<br \/>\noptimism that the partnership would create job opportunities and<br \/>\nassist the state government access fund for further development from<br \/>\nthe international agencies.<\/p>\n<p>Also speaking, the Vice President, Bluefield Associates Incorporated,<br \/>\nEngr. K.C. Obioha said his firm would provide the initial equity,<br \/>\nmanagement as well as fund the project.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that the essence of venturing into such partnership with<br \/>\nthe state government is to contribute to the rapid industrialization<br \/>\nof the state in line with governor Okorocha\u2019s vision.<\/p>\n<p>Engr.
