The Imo State Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha has promised people of the state that part of his Rescue Mission will commence from this Christmas.
Speaking during the official reception of the Chief of staff to the Governor, Chief Jude Ejiogu in Owerri, Okorocha said that having performed creditably in providing dividends of democracy to Imo people, his government will now move to the Mission movement, that is meant to further open up governance and touch lives of people at all levels.
While enumerating his achievements so far which he claimed are enviable marks on the sands of time, Okorocha said that whatever was lacking since two years will be provided under the mission adding that what he needs is only the support of the masses.
The Governor went further to seek the support of the people for APC and thanked Owerri people from supporting his government.
Unfortunately, the Governor who attended the function late met a near empty stand at the venue of the event when people had walked away after Okorocha arrived several hours after the scheduled time of the event.
