Despite efforts by the Imo State Commissioner for police and other security agencies in the state to curtail insecurity, kidnapping appears to have been resurrected again.
This time the programs officer of the state Millennium Development Goal (MDG) Mrs Mbajunwa was Wednesday night kidnapped by unknown persons.
Trumpeta investigation has it that the young lady was taken away from her Avu exclusive garden residence about 8.pm.
The kidnapping of Mrs Mbajunwa is coming a forthnight after the kidnapping of the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Imo state University Nze Ralph Njokuobi who was later released in a Commando style in his Uratta home town near Owerri.
Although the where about of Mrs Mbajunwa is yet to be ascertained, Trumpeta gathered that the incident has sent shivers in the nerves of the colleagues of the programs officer.
It will be recalled that the state has within the past month recorded no fewer than seven cases of kidnapping within the state capital, Owerri.
