The Imo State Governor Owelle Anayo Rochas Okorocha recently approved the construction of the abandoned 7 storey building situated under the ground in the blue print of the Imo state secretariat which was started by the then administration of the Evans Ewerem in 1992.
This was brought to the notice of the governor during an interactive session at the Ahiajiokwu convention centre, reacting to this the Governor stated that his administration is readily available to listen to the demands of Imolites, adding that his administration had committed all the state resources for rapid development excluding salaries.
Meanwhile speaking on matters affecting the civil servants in the state, the Governor who disclosed that he is unaware of some of the problems been faced by the civil servants in the state responded positively to the welfare of the civil servants of Imo state and as electricity he said has been restored to the state secretariat while renovations are still going on in some parts of the secretariat.
