Maverick music maestro Charles Oputa, aka Charley Boy who caused uproar in Imo state last year during the burial of his father late Justice Chukwudifu Oputa, is in the news again concerning Imo politics.
The last time news about Charley Boy was heard was when he reportedly jolted the congregation by embarrassing the governor of the state, Owelle Rochas Okorocha when he snatched the microphone from him at the funeral mass..
With campaigns for 2015 reaching feverish pitch, Charley seems to have joined the fray in local politics.
This time he joined the campaign train of Capt Emma Ihenacho. Charley Boy who sported yesterday evening along side the campaign team of the APGA guber candidate Capt. Emma Ihenacho decried the dirty condition of the state, stressing that the state is too dirty for his liking.
The music icon and maestro who is a known news maker who spotted did say, he feels Captain Emmanuel Iheanacho is the most mature to govern the state come 2015.
Reacting to the question as to whether governor Rochas Okorocha has faired well in the past three years, Charley Boy responded by saying that such an answer is not expected to emanate from his lip, adding that all and sundry have eyes to see.
