Ahead of this weekend’s governorship and House of Assembly elections, the Imo Security Network, ISN, vehicles are reported to be changing colour similar to that of the Nigerian Police.
Trumpeta learnt that the vehicles which initially spotted navy blue and black colours have now changed to dark blue and black colour of the police.
Reasons for the sudden change of colours of the vehicles it was gathered from Government House sources are to not only engage in rigging but also to use it to beat police and military checkpoints during the elections.
It was further gathered that suspected fake police uniforms in large quantities have been brought to be distributed to the operatives on election day to be used for snatching ballot boxes and election materials on the said day.
The newly-painted vehicles as at the time of this report last (Thursday) morning were at the place where new siren are being fitted onto them for operations.
