Frontline politician and former security adviser to Governor Ikedi Ohakim, Chief ZeekMartins Nnadozie has debunked the news making the rounds that Senator Ifeanyi Araraume shunned Speaker Acho Ihim’s reception held few days ago.
Speaking to Trumpeta over the telephone, Chief Nnadozie confirmed that Senator Araraume was conspicuously absent at the reception of the Speaker of Imo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Acho Ihim, but quickly said that the absence of the Senator had no bad feelings.
According to him, “It marvelled me when I read about the story purporting that Senator Araraume shunned the reception ceremony of Honourable Acho Ihim. The truth of the matter is that Senator Araraume has been overseas on business even as I speak with you.”
Chief Nnadozie further explained that neither did Senator Araraume sponsore Speaker Ihim nor had anything in the contrary against him. And therefore wondered how and why the Senator would have shunned the event if he was invited and were around.
He said for emphasis sake Senator Araraume did not shun the ceremony and also had no intention to do so, except for the fact that he was out of the country during the ceremony.
