Group seeks Federal lawmaker’s recall

The move to recall Hon Eddie Mbadiwe, member representing Ideato Federal Constituency has reached an advanced stage.  This is sequel to the current move by a group known as Ideato Patriots who have reached out to some prominent traditional rulers in Ideato federal constituency with a view to seeking for their support.  This was made known by the national coordinator of the group, Barr Cajetan Udensi, while addressing a meeting of Ideato people at the Celebration Hotel, Urualla.  He said that their current move to recall Mbadiwe is borne out the love they have their constituency which they claimed has not had effective and fair representation at the Federal House of Representative,Abujasince the inception of the current democratic dispensation.

The group frowned at the non – challant attitude of Honourable member whom they claimed hardly come home nor participate in activities organised by his constituents’.  They however blamed Governor Rochas Okorocha for allowing a conservative like Eddie Mbadiwe to fly the flag of his party-APGA as a house of Representative candidate for Ideato federal constituency, advising him to voluntarily resign and go back to his base in London or be disgraced out of office as arrangement have been concluded for a protest in government Owerri to solicit for support of the governor to support the recall move.  They used the medium to thank Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha and the members representing Ideato North and South at the state house of Assembly, Hon Ikechukwu Amuba and Hon Eudora Igwe, for making Ideato people proud and pledged their support to them to enable them succeed.
