Following the arrest and detention, the media, both electronic, print and social media have been awash in defense and support of the man named Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
Groups across the globe have continued to carry out peaceful demonstration in solidarity to the man and his course.
Recently, there were several hours of demonstrations in many parts of Anambra, Delta, Lagos and Rivers States.
Some other groups have continued to write to both local and international bodies and leaders in defense and support of Mazi Kanu.

The letter signed by Chijioku Ifeanyi reads in parts “the UN chatter on right of indigenous people become endangered with the arrest of this leaders of indigenous people of Biafra. The gut for the arrest is nothing but slap on the face of United Nation”.
