Oganiru Ndigbo Foundation Inaugurates Imo Chapter

A socio – cultural and developmental organisation geared towards catering the cause of Ndigbo across the globe, Oganiru Ndigbo Foundation, Imo state Chapter shall be inaugurated this weekend in Owerri, the state capital.

According to a message made available to Imo Trumpeta by the chapter chairman, Chijoke Emenalo, the event will hold on Sunday August 26, 2012 at the Dream Land Hotels, New Owerri.

Emenalo disclosed that Oganiru Ndigbo Foundation has been existing on line as Igbo global village or Igboville. The young and distinguished Igbo patriots have carried the emancipation of Ndigbo from the internet to real life as several inaugurated meetings commenced in Nigeria 2012. TheLagos,Abuja,Enugu, Ebonyi and Abia chapters have already been inaugurated adding that the annual retreat began last year with Senator Uche Chukwumerije as guest speaker.

Meanwhile, all members have been asked to attend the burial of Prof Obaji’s in-law at Umuahu Mbieri on Friday August 24, 2012.
