There Are Strong indications that the new wave of defection blowing across Imo State has caught up with the former Deputy Governor of the state, Dr (Mrs) Ada Okwuonu.
Trumpeta findings reveal that the former number two citizen of Imo State is billed to join the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, any moment from now.
Reports have it that all is set for the grand reception of Okwuonu by Ezinihitte chapter of the APGA, Okpofe Civic Centre is the venue of the event.
Ada Okwuonu who was the running mate to Chief Ikedi Ohakim during the 2007 election under PPA, joined PDP alongside the former governor later, and became a leader of the party until reports of the defection to APGA.
APGA in Imo State has been witnessing influx of top politicians into its fold of late. Those who joined APGA include Uche Onyeagocha of APC, and PDP Chieftains like Alex Obi, Jerry Chukwueke, Charles Onyeagbako and Humphrey Anumudu of the PDP.
Ada Okwou will no doubt swell the camp of the party.
