Vannycole Foundation, a non – governmental organisation, has pledged to uplift the poor.
Speaking to newsmen in Owerri, Executive Director, Vannycole foundation, Mrs. Kelechi Andrew said its motive is geared towards improving healthcare, education and literacy level in the rural communities. She said traditional rulers will be part of the exercise, stressing that the organisation is passionate to realise and achieve its mission, aims and objectives.
According to her, the organisation will ensure reduction in rural – urban drift by ensuring unrestricted access to basic social amenities for the local populace.
In his comments, founder of the group, Mr. Andrew Agbo, said the NGO is non – profit making. He commended Imo state Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha for his sterling leadership qualities in the state.
