Okonya Marshals Out Plans To Restructure Imo …Declares Interest in AGAP -

A guber hopeful under the All Grand Alliance Party, AGAP, Hon Chuks Okonya has declared interest to fly the party’s flag for the 2019 gubernatorial position in the State.

Speaking last week Thursday at the party’s secretariate in Owerri, the aspirant who stated that, the need to make relevant impact politically, in addition to his ability as a technocrat in resource management, which he would being to bear to change the socio economic development of the state when elected, prompted his decision to contest.

In what the aspirant term “ Imo Redemption Development Plan”, IRDP, he listed, welfare of workers and pensioners, Human capital Development, Sustainable infrastructural development, Healthcare, Restoration of oil producing areas, Agro Allied park and improved security network as the bedrock of his plan to restructure Imo and place it on the road map to sustainable development.

The Oguta born administrator turned politician further stated that not only will he ensure welfare of workers and pensioners are taken into full consideration, he assured that the infrastructural base would be given a boost to enable foreign investors, which would return impact on Imo youths through job creation.

The state chairman of the party, Ugo.C.Ugo assured aspirants that the party was ready and poised to deliver all aspirants in all elective positions at all levels in the state.
